About Gabriella (Gabby, she/her)

Hello and welcome!
I’m a cisgender woman whose values are rooted in confronting trauma and stress, both on an individual and systemic level. I provide anti-racist, body-positive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, continually striving to educate myself and confront biases that might impact the therapeutic relationship. With over 10 years of experience in community mental health and private practice, I work to create an environment of trust and safety for every client.

My approach is informed by ongoing education in the latest brain and body science. I use a variety of methods to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring a personalized and holistic treatment plan. You can expect an authentic, warm, and inviting space where I’ll encourage you to connect with and explore uncomfortable emotions, helping you grow through the process.

Originally from Indiana, I’ve lived in Costa Rica as a Peace Corps volunteer, moved to Colorado, and now call Atlanta, GA home. I’m a self-proclaimed nerd, with a love for Star Wars and Magic: The Gathering. I enjoy connecting with clients around their interests and passions, making the therapeutic process feel engaging and relatable.

My specialty is working with children aged 3 to 12, but I also enjoy working with adolescents and adults. I bring an experiential style to my practice, using play, art, music, and experiential practice to engage clients of all ages in the healing process.
